To schedule a consultation or procedure call 704-541-7654. There is a $50.00 fee for all consultations. Metrolina Plastic Surgery requires all medical fees to be paid in advance. Although we do not accept medical insurance nor Medicare and Medicaid, we can help you in expediting the reimbursement process. A 50% deposit is required at the time of scheduling all surgical procedures. We cannot secure a surgery date for you without a 50% deposit. The balance must be paid at your pre-operative visit within 2 weeks of your surgery date.
Forms of Payment accepted:
Cash
Certified funds – Cashier’s check or money order or cashier’s check made payable to MPS (Metrolina Plastic Surgery, P.A.)
Check – All personal and business checks presented to our office will be run through TeleCheck. The check writer must be present if paying by check. Personal / business checks can only be mailed to the office if your surgery date is more than 1 month / 30 days away; otherwise you must come to the office to have your check verified through TeleCheck. If you are unable to come to the office, please send payment in form of certified funds or credit card. There can be no exceptions to this.
Credit Card – We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. The cardholder must be present or must send a credit card authorization form with a copy of the credit card and their driver’s license. There can be no exceptions to this.
Financing - Care Credit. For information or to apply, please call 1.800.365-8295 or apply directly online at www.carecredit.com.
If mailing or faxing payment, please make sure you are including a signed and completed “Fee Agreement” and “Smoking and Tanning Policy.”
Surgery Days:
Dr. Bednar & Pratt operates Tuesday through Friday.
Surgery is scheduled on a first- come / first-serve basis. Surgery times cannot be guaranteed; however, we will make every effort to accommodate each patient’s needs.
Pre-Operative Appointments:
When your deposit of 50% has been received and a surgery date selected, a pre-op appointment will be made. Please allow 1 hour for this appointment. This appointment will be with one of our medical staff. At the pre-op appointment you will sign paperwork, go over any questions you may have before surgery, take required photos, and pay the remainder of the surgery fee, if any.
Your pre-op appointment must take place within 2 weeks of your surgery date and at least 1 day before. Please call the office for the specific times that have been allotted for such appointments. Please make sure that you are on time. You may be asked to reschedule if you are unable to be on time.
Additional Fees:
Required lab work, prescriptions, garments, and pathology, if needed, are the financial responsibility of the patient.
Liposuction and Tummy Tuck Patients:
You are responsible for scheduling an appointment to get fitted for your compression garments to wear after surgery. You will be given a prescription for your garments at the time of scheduling your surgery. Garments can range from $100-$300 depending on what is required for your surgery.
Patients requiring Medical Clearance:
All women and men of 50 and 40 years of age, respectively will need medical clearance. In addition, depending on your medical history, Dr. Bednar & Pratt may require individuals to submit further test results in order to be cleared for surgery. Surgery will not be scheduled until all required labs are received -there will be no exceptions. You will be given a medical clearance form at your consultation.
