Labial hypertrophy (enlarged outer portion of the vaginal area) is quite common and most often congenital (a function of your genetic makeup). Enlarged labia can often cause discomfort during physical activities such as jogging, cycling, or sexual intercourse. It may often be a source of embarrassment when wearing tight fitting clothes or a bathing suit.

Cosmetic labiaplasty involves surgically reshaping the vaginal tissue, most often the labia minora (inner vaginal lips) and will last approximately one hour. This procedure is performed on an out-patient basis in our fully accredited on-site private surgical suite.  Results from cosmetic labiaplasty are immediate; however swelling may persist for a few weeks. All stitches used during surgery are dissolvable and do not need to be removed. Average recovery time is 3 days; however we insist that strenuous physical activity be delayed for at least 4 weeks following your procedure.
